Data Protection Policy

Bristol Tuition needs to gather and use certain information about individuals, to ensure we can provide our service to you. We need to ask for your name, contact details and postal area. The data you provide at the time of your enquiry is held securely online on a designated drive and server and uploaded to an approved cloud computing service. All servers and computers containing data are protected by approved security software and a firewall. Your data will not be shared with a third party, other than the tutor who will use it to contact you. When data is no longer required it is deleted electronically.

Data stored on paper is kept in a secure place where unauthorised people cannot see it. Data is shredded and disposed of securely when no longer required.

All individuals who are the subject of personal data held by Bristol Tuition are entitled to a subject access request. Subject access requests must be made by email to bristoltuition@hotmail.co.uk. Individuals will be charged £10 per subject access request. The relevant data will be provided within 14 days. The data controller will verify the identity of anyone making a subject access request before handing over any information.
