Bristol Tuition has a growing team of 100+ qualified teachers working on a self employed basis in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas to provide learning opportunities for all ages and levels of students.
We cover most subject areas, as we come from a diverse variety of backgrounds, and all tutors are fully qualified to teach their specialist subjects. A few of Bristol Tuition’s tutors are featured on this page to demonstrate the range and quality of home tuition we can offer. There are many other tutors offering different subjects, so please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Although our fees are less expensive than those of some other tutor agencies, you can be assured that all tutors are professional, UK qualifed teachers. You will receive a personal service whenever you call, and we aim to provide you with access to a suitable tutor within 24 hours.
As part of our commitment to quality, a customer satisfaction survey is carried out annually.
I teach secondary English Language and Literature at GCSE and A Level. I have been a qualified teacher for five years, and I also have over ten years’ experience in learning support. I offer face to face learning in the comfort of the learner’s home to help prepare them for their future exams.
For the past 9 years I have been tutoring in schools with individuals and small groups. At present I am working face to face on a 1-1 basis with private clients outside school hours. I tutor Maths and all the sciences up to GCSE level to help tutees prepare for their exams or catch up with missed learning.
I was teaching GCSE level Maths around the world for 23 years before settling to base myself in a successful secondary academy for the last 5 years. As well as my classroom teaching, I specialise in home tutoring GCSE Foundation and those aiming for levels 4/5/6 on the Higher tier course.
I am a SEND, Early Years & Care specialist from Bristol. I also have ADHD and I am passionate about supporting neurodiverse people to achieve their best. I can tutor Maths and English 1-1 in tutees’ homes & I am currently enjoying tutoring small groups at Yate Academy to help keep them in line with their classmates.
I have taught Science and Chemistry for over 20 years and I am a Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach). I am a former Head of Chemistry at both a North Somerset comprehensive and one of the UK’s top independent schools and alongside working in school, I offer online tutoring to private clients.
I became a teacher 15 years ago and KS2 is my specialism. I teach mainly primary aged children within Bristol and S Glos, both in and out of school hours. I love creating a relaxed environment for them, to build their confidence and self esteem, while they engage in their numeracy and literacy lessons.
